About Us...

Ron Charles was established on the 5th July 2007.

Stylist Ron has previous experience under the leadership of an ex Vidal Sassoon Academy trainer. Originally from kent, Ron had always dreamed of opening his own salon, and two years on there is no looking back!

In 2006 Ron was a regional finalist in Wella Trend Vision, a international competition. This involved creating a whole new look including hair, make up and clothes. This worldwide competition saw his look 'Gothic Luxury' paraded down the catwalk to an outstanding response, putting him in the top 20 out of 900 competitors.

Ron is joined in his salon by his great friend Carley. Carley has over 13 years experience in some top city centre salons in York. She worked for Regis International for six years, which is also where she trained. After working in other prestigious salons she returned to Regis working at Trade Secrets of York as a Creative Director.
